ABOUT US – The TMH Institute for Pre-Hospital Care has been in existence since its inception in 1995. The institute graduated its inaugural class in 1996. In addition to providing regularly-scheduled continuing educational opportunities for regional EMS and fire department workers, the institute also gives back to the community in many ways.

These include:
1) monthly reviews (these are operated by participating counties and provide vital educational materials to EMS students for free)
2) the AED program (this is a free class taught intermittently in area schools, which offers basic instruction of
Automated External Defibrillators)
3) a special CEU credits program/annual recognition dinner; each of these are held during National EMS week annually.
